The mission of CEF is to protect and enrich quality public education in Claremont through community involvement.

Apply for Teacher Innovation and Community Partnership Grants

This program supports grants that enhance learning through community partnerships and targeted funding opportunities that extend CEF’s efforts in art, music, technology and other vital areas to bolster educational support services and enrich educational programming. The Foundation aims to fund proposals that develop and sustain valuable links with nonprofit organizations that share our commitment to support CUSD students and families.  More Information

Join us in the Claremont Village for…

The 1st Annual CEF Chocolate Walk!
Saturday – October 7th – 4-7pm

This exciting new event is a chance for families to indulge in chocolate sweets and savory treats. With 25 chocolate stops at local Village merchants, guests can also enjoy live music and view Claremont student art displayed in various shops and galleries as part of the Village Art Walk.

Community Conversation: Screening of SCREENAGERS

The Claremont Educational Foundation is hosting a screening and discussion of the award winning film SCREENAGERS at the Laemmle Theater. Adults and children are both invited to attend. CEF would like to thank event sponsor Test Prep Gurus for their generous support.

Where Does The Money Go?

  • Monetary gifts made to the Claremont Educational Foundation go directly to enriching and sustaining quality public education for students attending the Claremont Unified School District.

  • For the 2016-2017 academic year, CEF supported the district by gifting $196,000 in school-site specific grant funding.

  • The CEF gift will be used to continue to fund art and music in grades K-6, in addition to providing technology hardware and software upgrades at all campuses.

  • CEF is also committed to providing up to $10,000 in Innovation Grants for teachers and principals this academic year and $10,000 annually in Community Partnership Grants that enhance music, art and technology education across the community.
